my story

Mary Vahid

I don’t think I’ve ever been good at leaving things the way they are.

Since I was a child, I’ve had an instinct to question, reimagine and create. Sometimes that looked like writing poems and stories. Sometimes it became photography, theatre, fashion, architecture or beauty. The medium changed, but the motivation never did.

I’ve always been fascinated by the process of turning an idea into something real.

Not just something beautiful, but something people could experience, interact with and connect with.

Over the years, I’ve explored creativity through many different forms. I’ve built brands, designed products, led creative projects, trained professionals, directed campaigns and worked with people from countless backgrounds and industries.

What I discovered along the way is that I wasn’t interested in creativity for its own sake.

I was interested in solving problems.

Why do people choose one product and ignore another?

Why does one idea spark excitement while another gets forgotten?

How can something be more intuitive, more desirable, more useful, more meaningful?

Those questions eventually led me to the world of Product Development.

And suddenly everything clicked.

  • The creativity.
  • The strategy.
  • The psychology.
  • The research.
  • The innovation.
  • The problem-solving.

All the things I had been drawn to throughout my life existed in one place.

Today, I develop products by combining creative thinking with commercial awareness and consumer understanding. I love finding opportunities others haven’t noticed yet, building ideas from the ground up and transforming complex challenges into clear, practical solutions.

I’m naturally curious, relentlessly creative and probably incapable of stopping myself from improving things. Whether I’m developing a product, planning a project or experimenting in my kitchen, my brain is usually working on the same challenge:

What if there is a better way?

That’s the question that has shaped my entire career.

And it’s the question that continues to drive every product I create.
